Who We Are

PL Selvam was formed in 2010 primarily to serve clients for Intellectual Property Prosecution & Maintenance Services and over time many of our clients started to discuss with us for assistance in brand building and entry to new markets.

Building brands and entering new markets requires having an established network in many countries, insights into geopolitical issues, cross cultural sensitivities and market awareness.

Today we are proud to say, that PL Selvam has evolved to become a sought-after advisory firm capable of handling work for our clients in the ASEAN and SAARC Regions.

Ts. Dr. Paul Selvam Devadoss
Founder & Managing Partner

Ts. Dr. Paul Selvam Devadoss is a Serial Entrepreneur who founded PL Selvam, a Regional Corporate Advisory Firm focusing on ASEAN & SAARC. Paul has diverse business interests both in Malaysia and overseas. His expertise spans the fields of Strategy, M&A, Sustainability and Climate Change.

Paul is also the Chairman of Integrated Agriculture Cooperative Malaysia Limited (InAgMa) and the Vice President of Kabaddi Asia and President for Malaysia Kabaddi Federation (MKF).

Paul is a HRDF Accredited trainer, an Adjunct Professor at the faculty of Business & Communication at INTI International University, Universiti Malaya Elite Fellow and teaches courses for the Master in Environmental Management Technology Program, Faculty of Science at Universiti Malaya.

He holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences from Universiti Malaya, A Master of Science in Biotechnology from Malaysia University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Bharathiar University, India, and Paul is an AEMAS Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Professional technologist (P. Tech) and Certified in Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR). Paul is a member of the Advisory Board of WIPO Green, a unit of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

Paul Selvam Devadoss is the Chairman of the Organisation for Climate Change (OfCC) and holds memberships in Malaysian Institute of Management (MIM), Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia (ICDM) and Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).

Devan Subramaniam

Devananthan Subramaniam has nearly four decades of experience in the Private and Government Sector. His expertise spans the field of Hospitality industry, Education and Consultancy. Devananthan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Hons.), double major in Marketing & Management from University Utara Malaysia.

He has served as Private Secretary to the Deputy Minister of Plantation and Commodity and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Malaysia. He brings in management skills, Public relation and a commitment to enhance the company’s “culture “and expand the firm’s business opportunities. He has established a broad and constantly growing base of local and international business networks.

He is a strong proponent of hands-on Management and having served with Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, He has a comprehensive understanding of many cultures, he personally ensures that clients get the assistance they will need in business environments, and that requirements be fulfilled, to their maximum satisfaction.

He has been awarded “Ambassador for Peace “by “Universal Peace Federation”. He is also a founding member & current Secretary of the National Cooperative, “Integrated Agriculture Cooperative Malaysia Limited” (InAgMa).

Datuk Haji Mohd Fauzi Bin Zakaria (Corporate Advisor, Malaysia)

Datuk Haji Mohd Fauzi bin Zakaria has nearly four decades of experiences in the Corporate Sector. His expertise spans the field of Power Generation & Transmission, Telecommunications, Information Technology and International Trade. Datuk Fauzi completed his Diploma in Personnel Management from Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management (MIHRM) in 1982.

He started his career with Japanese International Sogo Shosha, Marubeni Corporation and during his 14 years there, he worked in Human Resource, Sales & Marketing, and Project Development (Power Business). From 1997 to 2003, he was appointed as the Executive Director for Samsung Corporation’s wholly owned company Waris Engineering & Technology Sdn Bhd which involve in Power Transmission.

Currently Datuk Fauzi is the Managing Director of Dream Chorus Sdn Bhd (ICT and Master Content Provider), Dream Music Sdn Bhd (Music Label, Digital Contents and Content Developer). He also runs a Trading and Services company called Gagasan Utama (M) Sdn Bhd.

Datuk Fauzi is the National Secretary General of the Malaysian Malay Businessmen and Industrialist Association (PERDASAMA) & Head of PERDASAMA Kuala Lumpur. In 2012, he was awarded the Anugerah Usahawan Harapan by Perdasama. In 2015 he received the Gold Winner Award on Mobile Business Excellence Award by MBE. He was conferred Darjah Mulia Seri Melaka (D.M.S.M) which carries the title Datuk in 2006.

Sridhar Radhakrishnan

Corporate Advisor, India

Sridhar Radhakrishnan has vast experience over a span of 23 years in Agri input marketing and logistics of hazardous and non-hazardous cargo, He is sought after for his skills in managing large scale shipments with efficient time-scheduling executions during 1978 to 2001 in a management role with Spic LTD and Tamil Nadu Petro Products Ltd in India.

Sridhar Founded MOGH Group in 2007 in Malaysia along with Paul Selvam Devadoss for entrepreneurial ventures which include ICT and Energy projects.

Sridhar attained his graduation in Mathematics from Madras University in 1977 and Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management from Annamalai University in 1992. In addition, his IT Skills include a certificate in WEB Engineering obtained in 2000

He brings valuable strategies in planning and Forecasting for efficient handling. His skills include profit realisation, Costing, Budgeting and Marketing for optimum realization of projects.

His Achievements include developing a software program in1989 in Management Information Systems (MIS) and its realization methods to ascertain the exact stand of a particular product in lieu of profit realization, thereby ensuring accurate sustainable growth and the identification of the source of wind density during the period of 1978 to 1988 for the suitability of wind mills, which has resulted now with over 8000 MW of wind farms in Southern Tamil Nadu. As of 2016, his research interests include IoT (Internet of Things) to cater to the opportunities and challenges for the future.

Indrajith Boyagoda

Corporate Advisor, Sri Lanka

Indrajith Boyagoda is a senior banker with c. 28 years of experience in Banking and Finance. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science (Honors) Degree in Chemistry from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, he shifted his interest into the field of Economics and Finance where he pursued a career in Banking. Alongside, he completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Development Economics and thereafter a Masters in Economics from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Having entered the Banking Industry in 1993 as a Management Trainee of a leading global bank, he quickly advanced through the ranks to become Vice President – Country Treasurer of the Sri Lanka operation in 2004 and moved to the Middle East and joined its Saudi franchise in 2006 to function as the Audit Program Director – Treasury and Capital Markets. After a span of 18 years in global banks, Indrajith joined a Sri Lankan bank as its Executive Vice President – Treasury and Investment Banking in 2012 a role he performs till date. During a 27+ year banking career, Indrajith gained extensive exposure in Treasury, Forex and Capital Markets in addition to Asset and Liability Management (ALM), Balance Sheet Optimization, Market / Liquidity Risk Management and Trade products that enabled him to function in senior management roles with ease.

His clarity in economic thought enabled him to read macro-economic market trends with high precession leading to rational decision making that allowed him to be an effective and efficient banking professional. Furthermore, his interest in Economics also made him a part-time faculty of the Masters in Economics program at the University of Colombo during the years 2004/5 and 2005/6.
